I have used Al’s for years and have been extremely pleased with the service I’ve received. The technicians are always very professional. They take the time to show you what needs to be done and they explain the work in terms I understand. They are prompt, they leave your home better than the way they found it and do it all with a smile.
Livining in Waynesville I was unsure that they would come this far North, our AC started making some noises. Sure glad I didn't hesitate, Chris (one of the owners) came out that day!! Our old girl was on her last leg, and he didnt just tell us, he showed us. We scheduled for a couple of weeks out, for a complete install and a move of the unit. Of course a week later she bit the dust. I called, and TR (other owner) offered us AC window units to get us through. -So nice! Day of our install and move of the unit, was one of the hottest days of the year. Jake, Jamie, and Tom (the Install Manager) showed up early and started right away. Chris even stopped by to check on his guys, and to make sure I was happy as a customer. We live in a newly bought (for us) historical home built in 1852. Some of our basement turns into a TINY crawl space, I am not sure how those guys did it, but they did! They even found a duct not connected, laying down and rusted. They replaced that too! If you are EVER in need, do not hesitate, ALL of these guys are professional, kind, and work from sun up, to sun down. Our house was a big job, and they went Above and beyond all expectations. They saved us a lot of money comparatively, and I 100% recommend them for ANY of your needs! -Stephanie Henderson
My furnace broke as they always do at the very beginning of a long holiday weekend. I called to see if it was possible to come out, and was pleased they had an on-call technician available. The upcharge for the call was pretty modest, which I also appreciated. But in talking to the tech ahead of him actually coming out, he asked a few questions and definitively told me what the issue was. Two follow up questions later, he definitively told me it was now something else. He also told me that it probably wasn't even worth getting fixed as the furnace wasn't even worth the amount of a variable speed motor. So...I bought the part for $82 online and fixed it myself. Good as new. Saved thousands.
Al's has been taking care of our heating and a/c units for over 15 years. After a couple of refills of freon and 19 years in service it became evident it was time to invest in a new system. The quote was within expectations for a high quality unit. The system was installed in short order and the whole thing runs and looks great. Installers were professional and courteous. Great experience.
