Chris Hollon Construction did an amazing job on our bathroom! They had great attention to detail and were super hard workers. Bert was the main guy installing and he was amazing and very professional. Todd and Chris worked behind the scene to get everything ordered and were great as well.

Very happy with our decision to hire Chris for our major kitchen remodel. Initially we were very nervous, having never been through a home upgrade before. However, working with Todd put all of our reservations at ease. He was responsive, accommodating, and went out of his way to make sure we were getting what was asked of him. His best decision was to send us Joe Wolf, of Wolf Den Remodeling and Woodworking! Joe was fantastic! Meticulous, detail oriented, talented ... he truly treated the remodel like he was upgrading his own home. Extremely excited to enjoy our new kitchen and would recommend Todd, Joe and Chris to anyone looking for contracting help!

** update** still no contact from anyone. And our porches are already leaking! Attorney has been hired, since apparently this company's way of handling issues is to ignore them. In February 2024, We paid Chris Hollon Construction $61,250 (was suppose to be $58,000) for 2 covered porches and a concrete pad for us to build a shed on. As of today we are owed a refund of $3,250 (which has been promised to be delivered 3 different times now with no shows). We tried to close the permit to find that the front porch needed to be approved thru Zoning and was not. It failed inspection due MANY reasons but to start: no gutter on addition, oversized from original plans, stairs are not even, which has resulted in my husband falling down them. The original gutter on my home was cut and seemed so any future damage from this will not be covered by insurance or warranty. The roof was to be rubber due to the pitch but it's shingled (and doesn't match the original roofs shingle) and there is nothing between the shingles and the plywood which voids any warranty there also. They created a trip hazard going up to to porch with the concrete pad they placed for new porch. And the front porch roof is crooked! They severed my electrical wire that ran out to a post in my front yard. The back porch was enlarged after plans where drawn up. The new design doesn't have plans approved by an Engineer. No electrical permits were pulled. The stairs are again uneven. There are concerns how the roof is attached to my home. The back patio roof should have a rubber roof also but it's shingled with no barrier between shingles and plywood like the front porch. They applied a thin piece of flashing to divert water in which the inspector for Boone County laughed when he seen! I opted for engineered wood for the longevity and the colors do not match. The 8x10 concrete pad they installed for us, was probably 8x10 with the forms but we had to add bricks to the back of the pad because it wasn't correct once they removed the wood forms. Anytime we contact Chris Hollon Construction we get empty promises but no action. I'm honestly unsure what Chris does for his company since we only heard from him when it dealt with the contract and initial payments. Otherwise it was the GM( Todd) or the subcontractor ( Aubrey Adams) AVOID them at all costs!!! We have started to seek a new contractor to see how much additional we will have to now pay to get these porches to code. I would understand this more if we had a bunch of friends build this on weekend for beer money! But $58,000 there is no excuse for such crap work and no response from owner. The manager just feeds you a line to make it seem like something will be done. But nothing happens. The over payment was discovered in October when they tried to get a final payment. Haven't heard a peep from any of them since the week before Christmas when we was told this would be fixed and Aubrey would deliver the overpayment that week.

Extremely pleased with Chris Hollon Construction. I was nervous outsourcing work for the first time in a house. I initially did the framing myself for a basement finishing and realized I was in over my head. Chris came out, pointed out some key pieces, and got me a rough estimate quote right away. We later met at his office and went through the final itemized total and really was a very reasonable price and time line. All of the workers with Chris were punctual, polite, and did a phenomenal job. Everyone treated the job like it was their own home and the quality showed! Again, I was nervous trying to pick folks after my parents and friends have all had bad experiences of poor work or people taking the money and running. EVERY aspect of the interaction with Chris and his team made me feel comfortable with the process. I would 100% use Chris Hollon again. Hopefully doing a deck this summer or next!

Chris Hollon was a pure pleasure to work with on the remodel of our bathroom. From quoting to scheduling to completing the work on schedule and with in budget I could have not asked for a better experience. Also Chris stands 100% behind his work. For any future home project Chris Hollon will be the first company that we will consider.
