Rob from Fast Response Heating and Cooling was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing and how it would impact my HVAC system. I’d gladly recommend him and his company!
I have used Fast Response twice through my home warranty company. I also had the pleasure of having Rob come and both twice it was a great experience. He was very field friendly and explained everything in detail to me about what was going on with my unit. I highly recommend their services.
Robert got our furnace running again in 20 minutes! He was efficient and knowledgeable and a pleasant person to talk with. I'm very grateful for all you do!
Pretty much worst HVAC experience ever We were forced to use them by our warranty company 1. For starters, there is no office/way to contact if you’re being serviced in the DFW area. Good luck with communication 2. Tech showed up 12 hours late to scheduled appt 3. They also told us to shut system down the night before (during a heat advisory) Reasons 2 + 3… ouch. Gets worse though. 4. Tech diagnosed the issue as a valve leak and Freon shortage. Guess what. Their Freon cost over 2X above market average. Left us feeling preyed upon 5. After we politely declined to be ripped off, the tech didn’t even screw the part back on all the way, leading to more Freon lost Also cancelling our home warranty - American Home Shield. This is not the only poor review of this contractor. Can’t trust a warranty company with bad contractors
DO NOT USE! Horrible experience that left us in a dangerous situation. They came to assess our furnace which wasn't working at all. Initially the tech came and shook a few pipes and insisted that our drain had been clogged which was causing a power failure. Didn't sound right to us but, the furnace was working so he left. Fourth five minutes later we called him back since the furnace was signaling a power failure again. He came back and replaced the high limit switch, which he said he's checked on his first time out. He declined to inspect any of the rest of the furnace even though we asked him to. He was SURE this was the problem and left again. This didn't sit right with us. We called to have an HVAC inspection that was included for free under our home warranty. They sent a new company who immediately identified that we had a cracked heat exchange. He explained that the first tech had replaced the high limit switch to allow a higher temp setting. This essentially bypassed the furnace safety shutoff and allowed it to keep running under conditions that could have caused carbon monoxide to leak into our house. A note about American home shield: they really didn't care about this story. In fact they said they could ask this contractor to come back, or we could pay ANOTHER $125 for a new service call. Completely indifferent to the safety issue their contractor caused.
