We came home to a sauna ( 80° inside), and our A/C Unit was out. Zach, the tech, came out and had it diagnosed within minutes. Gave us a quote and had us scheduled for a new system install within an hour. Scott and Dan were excellent and upfront on the quote, no big surprises at all. They were lower than 2 other estimates we received. Installer Scott and Moe came to our home a couple of days later, and we were back in business within 4 hours. Can't say enough great things about Greater Comfort. Great company with great people as well as excellent communication. We refer hvac companies often with our business Greater Comfort has now earned the top spot for referrals. Look no further.
I cannot say enough great things about our tech, Zach, and Greater Comfort in general. Our AC was having issues and after originally dealing with another company who didn’t do anything to fix and only wanted us to pay for unnecessary services, we contacted Greater Comfort and they had someone out as soon as possible. Zach was incredibly professional the entire time, making sure we understood what he was doing and why. Our AC is working again and even more efficiently than before.
My air conditioner stopped working and I called Greater Comfort as I had previously used them for an installation. They were able to send a technician out in thirty minutes. The technician was prompt and able to diagnose the problem. He was up front about the cost of service. He also showed me the broken part (capacitor) as soon as he removed it. He showed me a new one and tested the current across the old one and new one to show me it was bad. He stayed within the quoted time limits and I felt he did the repair as fast as possible so as to not charge me for a second hour. The price of service was as expected and I did not feel that I was oversold or taken advantage of. This is the third time I have used Greater Comfort from a major complete install to smaller repairs like this one. I will definitely call them first again next time I need service.
Mike was at my place this morning for the Fall maintenance on my HVAC system: furnace & heat pump, etc. He was prompt, very friendly and answered the questions I had very patiently and was very informative. I appreciate Greater Comfort and the technicians for their service; especially Mike today.
A young man, Jessie, came to my home this morning and serviced my heating and air conditioning units. He explained all that he was doing, showed me different parts and measurements, taught me information I had never heard about choosing furnace filters, He has the makings of both a technician and a teacher. Excellent job!
