But every once in a while you come across an individual who is such a professional and credit to their work and company, that you have no choice but to take the time to let the world know. Jared knows his trade inside and out, takes extreme pride in the quality of his work, and was willing to take the time to thoroughly answer all my questions. Jared was very thorough in inspecting our furnace and heating system. He pointed out a problem area with our return-air duct work, where several nails used in the original construction are working their way loose and need to be replaced with screws. No one had noticed this or pointed it out previously. This shows an individual who does high quality work and takes their job seriously. Kudos, Jared! 👏
We’ve had JM Mechanical out for all our HVAC needs. They fix issues, explain the fix and the costs upfront. No high pressure sales to upgrade or do things you don’t need. Jared was great, very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.
I have to say I am disappointed having to write this review. Our company started using JM years ago back when Josh was still driving trucks. We've used them for many repairs and overall we were wonderfully pleased with the service and attention to detail. However, in the last few years it's gone downhill quite a bit. Several of the most recent repairs (especially within the last 18 months) have had issues we have had to call out another company to fix properly, such as improperly wired thermostats, overcharged condensers, cracked (new A-Coil pans (drain fitting was screwed in too tight) and most alarmingly an unwillingness to get back to us when we requested items be fixed or made right. JM proved unwilling to correct these issues when discovered, but were perfectly happy to bill us for an $80 service call. A few weeks ago a new installation they did for an AC coil and condenser (less than a year ago) stopped working, and they came out to check the system and told us it was under warranty, and the part would be in within a week or so. I have tenants in the building now that have been without AC for the third week now, at the hottest time of the year, and the technician is not answering the phone. When I try to get through to the office, I'm either told the same thing over and over (We will check in and let you know when we have it) or their horrible call center answers, which half the time miscommunicates the issue and then the JM office doesn't even know we called. I can't speak to the reasons why this change has happened, but I am very sad to see a company we used to love doing business with devolve to "just another big company"
JM was wonderful to work with. Our technician, Michael, arrived on time and was very thorough with his work. He explained everything that needed to be fixed. Also, Jessica in the office was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I will recommend JM to my family and friends.
