I was able to schedule an appointment within several hours on a Friday afternoon when the AC had quite working. Michael Carter arrived and was very professional and courteous. He definitely went above and beyond when it came to accessing the unit on the roof, I am sure other technicians would have walked away from that! We were pleased with the promptness, the daring skill, and restored AC. I also use them to maintain boilers in some of my other buildings.
We called this company after receiving a sales card in the mail. We had Michael Carter and he was amazing! He was professional, courteous and an all around nice guy! He explained everything and advised us on what we needed. He never pushed anything on us which made us more comfortable to listen and believe! Many companies have their techs try to push services on you but he did not! We will definitely use this company again because of Michael!
Another dishonest HVAC company. Our heat wasn't working so we called for a repair. We told the tech the unit is 4 years old and has never had a single issue and has not been serviced before. He spent 2 hours trying to figure out the issue, it started running, house got up to 61 degrees, we paid him and he left. 5 minutes out the door and no heat again. Called and requested a callback, waited an hour, called again and they sent him back out. 2 hours of more tinkering he still "thinks he might know the problem" so he video calls the service manager that says "it is a faulty Inducer which is a flaw in our model and even if we pay over $1,000 to replace it, it will break again soon". He then left, leaving us with no heat, with a house at 59 degrees. Next morning, still freezing I call them again and I'm told "someone is on the way". They sent a salesperson to sell us a new furnace and another salesperson called me since "it was supposed to be his sale" and told me what a great deal he wanted to give me on the new furnace!!!!! "It's end of season and we are really just charging our cost plus tax...." I told them "do not send a salesperson! Give me an actual quote to fix my 4 year old furnace" Hours later, still freezing the tech says "about $1500" I told him I need an actual quote over and over and finally he called back with "$1200". I called another company. They came right away, knew within 5 minutes what the problem was, called the manufacturer and found out we have a 10 YEAR WARRANTY FOR FREE PARTS. They installed the parts on the spot and we had heat again in under an hour. They said it was an easy and basic repair and the tech from Knochelmann Service Experts hadn't even put the furnace back together!!!! The pressure switches which were fine, and $400 of the $1200 quote, weren't re-attached. Was he really a tech or just someone they send in ahead of the Salesmen??!! I called the office and requested a call from the service manager, still no call.
I bought a furnace from these people. Chuck (George) Thompson was my sales rep and Matt Kochersperger is his boss calling himself sales manageras as he threatened to put a mechanical lein on my home. Chuck did not disclose all the Info of our financed agreement to me before he had left our meeting and had set an installment appointment. Upon reading the agreement I had called Chuck to cancle and informed him of the financial problems I had with that contract. He assured me we would figure it out and make it right. The install team still came out and installed a new furnace took my old one. As I thought things would be taken care of, no heat and a baby soon due we allowed them in our home. Chuck did not fix the situation by calling the the financing company as he said he would and i was forced to cancle my application to avoid being over charged by Knocklemann. Chuck then calls me demanding payment. As he starts to get nasty calling me inappropriate name we end our conversation. I reached out to Matt and Upon doing so I explained the situation and events leading up to it. Matt disregarding all that happened is asking for cash or check at this point and threatened to put a mechanical lein on my home when I had obviously intended to finance this in the first place. There seems to be no one else left to talk to. Matt seems to have voided their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee that states if im not 100% satisfied they will refund the cost of my service call or remove the installed equipment and refund my money with no questions asked. I've asked for a copy of a contract regarding terms of service, a bill for the service and they have been unwilling to supply me with either. Matt has already said he will not take the equipment back voiding the guarantee with no reason backing this. These people have been nasty, disrespectful, hard to work with and unwilling to communicate properly. I'm no longer sure how to handle this situation when there is absolutely no trust and they have voided all guarantees. This is an awful company that does not deserve to service the public
I have used Knochelmann's services for the past two years! They are the absolute best!!! I highly recommend them!!!! Mike service rep who did the work, was absolutely the best!!!! I would request him over and over again! No one has ever done a better or more thorough job than he did. He vacuumed the air vent and floor inside where the furnace is. Great attention to details! Very personable and thorough.
