Rusk Heating & Cooling has been a blessing for me. They installed a new furnace and A/C for us, and the last visit was to clean out the vents and they also installed a new thermostat that I can control remotely. My mom can't seen well enough to adjust the thermostat, so this definitely helped both of us. Chris was our tech and my mom loved him and he was really awesome!
I called Rusk and the tech Tom arrived that day. Later in the afternoon John arrived to determine what new system I would need as my unit was 28 years old and not worth repairing as the coolant was obsolete. John sold me a Carrier unit. Rusk prioritized my order & Tom came the very next day to install the new unit. Now that is what I call service! Judy was great on the phone and explained that a yearly maintenance package for my furnace & air conditioner would insure optimal performance of these units. I am so grateful for their prompt attention as it is currently very hot in Cincinnati. All three people I dealt with were courteous & caring. I cannot recommend this family run company more! Rusk installed a second AC unit to service the second floor of our home. There was no unit there previously so the job required a good deal of thought and planning. The unit selection and work was done quickly and efficiently. The installation team was knowledgeable, and courteous.. Three months after install they scheduled a free Service call to evaluate the unit’s performance. They are not the lowest cost provider but they deliver outstanding value.. Their techs are long term associates; well trained .
We had Rusk Heating and Cooling install a new furnace and a/c unit in our home maybe 8 years ago. The did a top notch job and we've had a maintenance agreement and regular service on it from them ever since. We had two incidences where there were problems. One was with the a/c compressor the first year; they came out and took care of it under warranty and it has worked well ever since. The second was caused by a capacitor in the blower motor which was a problem maybe two years ago. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced the capacitor and the system ran fine for us since then. There was a charge for the part but the cost was reduced because of our coverage with the maintenance agreement. We have since, sold our home and purchased another. There is a 10 year warranty on our new furnace but it is through a different company. I hope that they are as good as Rusk H&C. Will we call Rush H&C again if we are in a situation where we need them? ABSOLUTELY!
Replaced our central air unit. Previous unit lasted more than twenty years, and was also installed by Doc Rusk. The sales person was very professional, and had a quote for us before he left the house. The day of installation went smoothly. Installers were on time, and very polite (even asked if they could play their radio while in the basement). Took the day to install, and made sure the unit was working properly prior to leaving. We have used Doc Rusk for many years.
