I have used Star may times over than 30 years we have doing business together. They are very good at what they do and are reasonable in their charges. They will give many options on what can be done to repair your HVAC systems from a commercial or to a homeowner.
We recently had Star Heating and AC install an HVAC system in our new house and it was such a pleasant experience! Aside from the fantastic work they did, they were so friendly and professional. They answered all of our questions and gave us different options so we felt very informed about what the plan was for the installation. We are so thankful for the work they did and would definitely recommend Star Heating and AC for any HVAC installation or issues!

Very bad experience. Our AC stopped working so we called Star. $350 later, it was fixed. Great. Several weeks later, it stopped working AGAIN. We called wondering why this would be since they just fixed it. The technician told us, "you have a freon leak." But, you told us you fixed it, we exclaimed! "Naw, I didn't fix the leak. I just added more freon. If you wanted the leak fixed, you should've told me to fix the leak." By the way, Star charges $150/lb. for freon. Thus, instead of fixing the leak, they left it open so we would need to call them again and again to refill the $150/lb. freon. Embarrassed to have been swindled by these guys. Don't repeat my mistake. Call someone else.
