We called Thomas and Galbraith to come out to help us with a clogged kitchen sink and have nothing but great things to say about our experience. We were given a time window and told they would call 30 minutes prior to coming. Not only did they call ahead but called earlier and came out sooner than expected. Once they arrived they were very professional, friendly, and considerate. Brandon, Jeff, and their new trainee not only spent the time but corrected a prior plumbers errors and made the quality of piping and draining better and to code. Their experience and expertise was amazing. They went above and beyond and put in new pieces to make sure we didn’t have an issue again and then spent the time to snake the pipes to clear the clog and left with nicely unclogged pipes and a sink that worked better than ever. They cleaned everything up afterward and left squeaky clean. They did all of this for the price of only unclogging the drain , which was more than reasonable to begin with! I will certainly use them from now on for all of my plumbing needs and recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you all so much! Quality of professionals as well as their work was for sure a 10.
So the technician who came to diagnose our AC unit arrived promptly and was very professional. Would have loved to retain their services for convenience. However, the prices for labor at this company are completely unhinged from reality. The part itself, a contactor relay, costs anywhere between $13-50 at your local appliance parts store depending on what type you need. I, an IT guy by trade, got one for $13.96 and had it swapped out in under an hour with nothing but a screwdriver and YouTube. Thomas and Galbraith wanted to charge us $550 for the entire job on top of the $95 troubleshooting charge. That comes out to roughly $500-600/hr in labor costs. I know of doctors who charge less per hour to diagnose cancer patients. Again, the technician, Charlie, and his professionalism deserves all the praise in the world. The company itself however, huge racket. Do your research to see if you can DIY, then probably call a different company that won’t try to shamelessly price gauge a customer because they’re desperate for cool air for their family in the middle of July. Do better T&G. Update: My name is Brandon Nelson and your “upfront prices” do not reflect the scale of the work. If you can’t be fair about a small job that requires only a screwdriver and 30 minutes of rewiring how do you expect customers to come back for an even more costly replacement/install. My $13.96 part came with a warranty too and the whole unit is already out of warranty. Stop your summer price gauging.
I can understand why this company is so popular. Very easy going, responsive and professional. My tech was Corey browning. He was informative, helpful and very polite. Super cool guy. My ac stopped running after a storm and he came out and figured it out within an hour. Damage was a couple hundred bucks which isn't bad at all! I appreciate the hard work put forth in resolving my issue. Definitely using this company in the future for any issues I have. Thanks again!
Keith was amazing. Arrived promptly. Explained everything he was doing. He was able to tell me how to fix a few things on my own as well if I wished to go that route. If the prices weren’t so high I would give five stars but it’s quite expensive just to have someone look at the HVAC. And to charge over $600 for a condensate pump when they cost $50 at Lowe’s is outrageous. Overall great company though and would still recommend!
I had a great experience and highly recommend them. I had a pipe burst in the cold snap. Their response time alone is 5 stars. The service was top of the line in quality and customer service. There are so many nice touches which elevated the whole experience beyond the typical cold transcations so common these days. I like how their digital system created easy to understand quotes and detailed records emailed right after the job. I will continue working with Thomas and Galbraith to upkeep my heating cooling and plumbing.
